We ate here rather than stayed. The meals were traditional German which was great and my family (two adults and three kids - two of which are picky eaters- easily got fixed up. I'm vegetarian and there wasn't much to choose from which is the only reason for four stars as I'm writing my review based on that fact. I did find one meal that I could eat which was lovely and very filling, a mixed vegetable dish with sheep cheese and herbs. The service es wonderful, the waitress spoke in English but was very patient while I ordered in German. The location was fantastic especially as my daughter loves horses and was able to watch one being lunged.

I was there with my family. We enjoyed the very nice location with the lake nearby (it takes about 15 minutes to get there by foot). The service personnel is very friendly and quick. The food is very good for a reasonable price. Definitely recommend it.

The food was amazing, very typical but had so much flavor, trust me, I’m picky. The service staff was incredibly friendly and the food took so little to be on our table. Yes it is a little far from the lake but it’s better bc you can still see the lake and get better attention. Happy with our visit!!!

Very friendly staff - rustique local restaurant. Part of the restaurant faces the riding arena. Good home cooking and guess it is nice to go there in summer with the beer garden.

Excellent, fresh, local cuisine with friendly service and fair prices. Especially in the summer when you can enjoy a great beer garden with a view, this place is highly recommended. In other seasons the restaurant is much less busy and the indoor ambience is somewhat partial towards horse-lovers, as you can watch the indoor horse riding facility while dining. Don't ask for horse-meat though ... ;-) This is a great place for families as kids can jump around anywhere here. And quite often they have "special weeks", just check their website.

Lovely setting, near Klausenhorn Camping (about 10 min. drive). Very kind staff and tasty local food though not much choice for vegetarians.
